It’s summer’s last hurrah! What’re you going to do with this three-day weekend for the unofficial end of summer? We’ve got a suggestion: Unplug!

If not for the whole weekend, then try it for 24 hours. Turn off or put away all screens and enjoy the world around you. Read a real book, take a walk, have a fun day with the kids and be fully immersed in what’s happening. Taking a day (or three!) to look around and be 100% involved, sans phones, is a refreshing and welcome retreat to the everyday grind. Recharge your internal battery and get back in touch with the tangible things in life.

So, how long will you unplug? Take stock at the end of the weekend and notice how you feel. Is it something you think you’ll try again?
